GOP starts ‘Just Say No to Education’ campaign

Across the country Republican governors and lawmakers are doing their part in the long term GOP education plan, “Just Say No to Education,” by cutting the education budget for already under funded schools.

In Florida, Governor Rick Scott wants to decrease the education budget by 15 percent which has led to one school district canceling its athletics programs for next year. Florida, however, isn’t the only state trying to race to the bottom of education standards in the country as Texas is planning on cutting $10 billion or so from their education budget.[gore]

Other states racing to have the country’s worst education system include Wisconsin, which is targeting teachers directly, South Carolina, and Indiana. When others are openly cutting education, Republican Governor John Kasich of Ohio is raising the education budget by two percent while decreasing a revenue source that goes to the public schools by 10 percent.

The overall plan is to create serfs to toil for corporations by keeping the poor uneducated with little or no hope of betterment. Replacing the old American dream of a brighter future for your kids with a new American dream of keeping the poor poor, the rich rich, and to eradicate that pesky middle class that has a few extra dollars corporate America is paying the GOP to redistribute to them.

The new GOP vision for the future of America is a dumb America that will shut up and do what Fox News tells them to do on behalf of their corporate overlords.

You get what your uneducated vote got you! A bunch sorry ass Republican policies that hurt children’s education. Just because the rich need welfare to hire employees. Only this never works. Look at Reagan’s failed economy. Hell I know some of you can’t even remember Bush’s mess he left us. Poor education or just selfish behavior?
